Step 1:

Begin by cutting the pipe cleaners in half. Now you have six fuzzy spider legs! Squeeze all six pipe cleaners together and shove them through the hole of your bead. Make sure your bead has a big, hearty hole, otherwise they pipe cleaners won’t fit. (Obviously, spiders have eight legs, but it's often hard to find a bead that will fit four pipe cleaners through its hole! Just fit as many as you can!)

Step 2:

Once the spider legs are through the bead hole, begin spreading them out!

Step 3:

Now let’s bend those fuzzy legs! Bend each leg two times to create a “Z” shape with each leg.

Step 4:

It’s time for the eyes! You can use googly eyes or sequin eyes. Both are great and offer different looks. Place two dots of tacky glue on the bead and the eyes right on top. You can also use hot glue if you would prefer but please make sure an adult applies the hot glue.

Step 5:

Viola! Your spooky little bead spider is ready for action!
