Step 1:

Coat the washer surface with white nail polish. Let it dry for 10 minutes.

Step 2:

Depending on the nail polish you are using, you may want to apply a second coat. Once the second coat has dried, coat the opposite side of the washer. Remember to let it dry 10 minutes between coats.

Step 3:

Make a loop with the cord and thread it through the washer, then pull the other ends of the string through the loop.

Step 4:

To draw the seams of the baseball, use a second washer and trace semicircles on both sides.

Step 5:

Draw stitches along the seams using a red permanent marker.

Step 6:

Add a bead, making sure to thread both ends of cord through it.

Step 7:

Decide what you want your keychain to say. Since you want your message to spell from top to bottom, thread the letter beads in a backwards order of spelling.

Step 8:

Thread the cord through your keyring.

Step 9:

Loop the cord through to tie a knot on the keyring. Try to leave as small a gap as possible as you can between the keyring and the beads.

Step 10:

Put a small dot of hot glue on the knot for extra secuity.

Step 11:

Trim the excess ends of cord.

Step 12:

There you have your own personalized sports keychain!
