An adorable Thanksgiving craft made from a dollar store plate at sophie's world

You Made it! I Love It!: Turkey Handprint Plate

I love this adorable Thanksgiving Craft, made from a dollar store plate.

Thanksgiving Day is the perfect time for making crafts. Now, I know what you are thinking..."Wait, there's no time, I'm cooking dinner for 15 picky relatives, how in the heck will I have time for crafting!?" But if you have someone who is of the age to safely handle scissors, this craft created by Keri of The Home Teacher, is the perfect distraction while you are making your pumpkin pies. And the best part of all, it's inexpensive. Keri got most of her supplies at the dollar store with the exception of Mod Podge. (You can always make your own by mixing 1 part glue with 1 part water).

Not only is this a great craft that allows for personal creative expression - imagine your turky wearing a fedora for example! The end result is a fabulous plate on which to display cookies, candies, and other tasty morsels! You could make one every year, and watch the hand grow!

I tip my pilgrim hat to Keri and her fabulous family friendly creation!
