One of the banes of being a party planner is the accumulation of stuff!  No matter what, there will always be some new theme, be it Fortnight or the newest Disney film, that will demand new decor.  The problem?  Kids and adults are fickle.  As soon as the next big blockbuster video game, film, or social media meme takes over, those items become passe and just start gathering dust.

Every now and then I get a request to review an item for a company.  I always find this to be a fun endeavor, especially when it's something that I get to help design or create myself.  So when the good folks over at Smartsign.com sent me an inquiry, I was more than happy to jump on board and give their product a try.

In October of 2018 the good folks over at Brightech sent me one of their LED lamps to review.  It was one of those items that I really valued and used.  But when my mom came to visit the warehouse, she literally fell in love with the lamp.

Is there anything as magical as a bedtime story?  I remember as a child my parents tucking me in, reading me a story or two, and then setting my little Close and Play to read me a recorded book called Three Horn the Dinosaur.  I think I must have fallen asleep to that story every night for at least a year.  I loved that book...and I loved my Close and Play!

Are you looking to engage a large number of people at your next event?  Are you a corporation holding a picnic or a school holding a reunion?  May I suggest a crafting table?  Sure, there are wonderful offerings out there for party entertainment: balloon twisters, face painters, airbrush tattoos and photo booths just to name a few. But there's nothing quite like taking home something that you or your child has made themselves.
