Candy Corn Twinkle Lights

Brighten your Fall with these simple candy corn lights.
Materials List

Paper cones (enough to place one on each light)

Scissors

Paint brush

How to
Step 1

Paint those paper cones to look just like candy corns! Paint a ring of yellow on the widest part of the cone, followed by a ring of orange above it. Repeat for each cone. The width of each color on the candy corn cones is up to you!

Step 2

Once the cones have dried, use scissors to snip off the very tip of each cone.

Step 3

Now it's time to attach each cone to each light. Slip the tip of the cone onto a light and cut a small piece of white electrical tape. Stick the electric tape to the paper tip of the cone and the plastic attached to the twinkle light.

Step 4

Wrap the electric tape completely around the cone and twinkle light so it is snuggly in place.

Step 5

Check it out! You have completely transformed the average twinkle lights into beautiful Halloween candy corn lights!

Variations

You can also make GHOST TWINKLE LIGHTS! Instead of painting candy corns on the paper cones, draw some scary ghost faces! Cut the tips, string them on the lights, and secure with electric tape just as you did for the Candy Corn Lights.
