Today I'll be sharing stories and songs with different themes - but that basically say one thing - "we are all different, but we can learn and love through those differences". I'll be starting with Shel Silverstein's, "Lester", from "Where he Sidewalk Ends", followed by "The Peacock's Tail" from Jerry Pinkney's retelling of "Aesop's Fables", then "The Kissing Hand" by Audrey Penn with illustrations by Ruth Harper & Nancy M. Leak, and finally from A.A. Milne's "Now We Are Six" a piece entitled, "the old sailor" with decorations by Ernest H. Shepard.
