Hi Everyone - It's Whacked Out Wednesday! Today I'm turning everything topsy turvy by reading stories that have to do with holidays that are already past or yet to come. I'll be starting with Shel Silverstein's "merry..." from "Where the Sidewalk Ends" followed by "Bear Stays up for Christmas" by Karma Wilson with illustrations by Jane Chapman. Next up will be "Pete the Cat the Great Leprechaun Chase" by James Dean, and finally from A.A. Milne's, "Now We are Six" with decorations by Ernest H. Shepard an piece entitled, "the emperor's rhyme".
